How to clear your browser cache
Your browser makes the web a little bit faster by 'remembering' things about websites you visit. This can include stylesheets, bits of code, and images -- plus a whole lot of metadata.
This also means that sometimes you can't see changes made on your site. The following guides walk through how to clear your browser cache.
Apple Mac OSX / Safari
- Click the Safari Menu > Clear History or Website Data, then follow the prompts.
- On older versions of Safari, choose "Reset Safari” and, at the very least, choose the "Clear history" option.
Apple iOS / Safari (iPhone and iPad)
- Open Settings > Safari
- Click 'Clear Cache'.
