What WordPress theme companies do you recommend?

At Performance Foundry, we have built our own theme framework, as the basis of much of our custom work. Foundry Bootstrap is based on the popular Underscores starter theme and optimised for WordPress through custom functions and styles. 

However, if a custom build is not in your price range, we recommend starting with a theme from one of the providers below, which Performance Foundry hosting clients get free access to:

Drag & Drop system

If you want a Drag & Drop system, our extensive testing has found that WP Beaver Builder is the fastest and best quality framework to start from.

Our team are experienced in customising themes from the outlets above, and we follow the vendors' published best-practise coding standards when available. However, we are happy to work with (almost) any theme or framework.

Free Options

The official WordPress theme directory has thousands of free and freemium themes with variable levels of quality: https://wordpress.org/themes/

We don't like...

Due to constant and ongoing issues we no longer recommend themes purchased from Themeforest especially those that bundle the Visual Composer, WP Bakery PageBuilder, or OptionTree plugins.

Avada, X-theme, Divi & the Divi builder by Elegant Themes have also always done more damage to speed and reliability than we'd like to see. Any layout you like in the above themes can be customised for your brand through custom development.

Can you copy a theme for me?
